Insurance required for C8

Hi
I am very lucky that next week I shall be taking delivery of an C8,
Is there a main company that seems to like the modern corvettes? I have in the past used Howdens for my specialised bike and cars,
But any helpful suggestions would be appreciated,
Thank you in advance

Just a word of previous experience with Admiral - they may be giving cheap quotes and stuff, BUT they have absolutely rubbish customer service if you have even the minor of issues. Granted my experience is with house insurance, not car insurance, but same company. I spent ages trying to sort a minor issue with them, and got fobbed around everywhere, wasting a lot of time and so forth. I made a complaint about it to them as it was so bad. And that complaint took a while before they registered it and they said they'd investigate and let me know in about 4 weeks. True to their word they got back to me in 4 weeks..... saying they are investigating and will let me know now in 8 weeks time.

I do not hold out hope for that company at all with this poor level of service.

You're probably right. Looking at Trustpilot, 9% of the reviews gave them only one star and you can't give them "zero" stars.

Evidently its just me then.

But I do wonder if the reviews are more around "cheap price, got my insurance sorted quickly" (of which Admiral are very good I admit), as opposed to "drat, I've had to claim / actually do something with the insurer" (which is the bit I've had to complain about) ?
Sadly it’s not. It took me the best part of a year to get the complete reimbursement from a van I owned which was rear ended and written off. I lodged multiple, multiple complaints and was compensated. They did nothing, I had to regularly chase them and badger them to do anything.

I see my off topic comments about Admiral are now becoming the topic here. Let's try to put this back on track for C8 insurance. I'm sure Admiral is fine for car insurance, but for me and home insurance I evidently got them on multiple bad days.

But for those interested, in a surprise turn of events, they contacted me to say that they have actually investigated quicker and found that BOTH of my complaints were upheld and I'm duly being compensated. So that's a good thing that they have found they were wrong and should hopefully be better in the future.

So yes, back to C8 insurance recommendations please :) (not that I can afford a C8 )
