Is This Nice....Or What...........

I believe front emblem indicates '77, and still has the "sugar scoop" style roof and rear window, which went away in '78.

So with "rubber" bumpers front & rear, is this a 74 or later? How do you tell? What are the other clues? Keen to know. Corvette Black book out in garage and it's freezing here tonight!
Black windscreen framing. Absence of previous year's hood vents across rear of hood bulge. Lack of Stingray script on front fenders. Definitely a 1977. Some '77s got crossed-flags emblems in place of the Stingray script, but not all.

"Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear". From a 1966 issue of Corvette News, just look at all those old used cars. Nothing but C1 and C2 Corvettes everywhere you look. Lordy! Lordy! Lordy!

Some of the newer owners may wonder if the "Rat Pack" reference, on the '69 photo Norm posted above, somehow refers to Frank Sinatra's Rat Pack. Ah, no.

Small-block Chevys are designated "Mouse", while big-block Chevys are designated "Rat". And now you know. :giggle:

Frank, Dino, and the boys had mostly classy, stylish cars back in their day, T-Birds, Caddies, Continentals, Rolls, Ferrari, and a Porsche or two, most were not into the race car scene, spent their money on booze, broads, and gambling.............;)
