Not a bad Friday the 13th after a chat with Keith at eurovettes I had the cat off and it was blocked !!! So sorted that !!! New lower ball joint fitted park brake all working now fitted new plugs wires and dizy cap as had a misfire
Well I never seen this before someone in the passed has done a compression check , must of unwound the tester out the cylinder but the adapter stayed in and they screwed the spark plug into the adaptor !!!!!!! So that was bit of an issue also new rear brake hoses and a fluid change and brakes are good now too
Also found a split in the air intake after the maf so had to bodge that for now, but it runs 1000 times better

It’s a good day if you can fix and improve I bet that’s why the car was left for 5 years as it ran like a massy Ferguson

wow, amazing progress. what was the cat blocked with? how di you remove the blockage? what were the symptoms that led you to successfully diagnose a blocked cat?
