They make an option costing $5 that you would know better than I as it allows mounting UK plates or American sized plates

UK plates option

You can order their product directly on their website, and they make these from C5s to C8s
Bet you guys could make some money, contact them and become s dealer to see UK and other areas near you
and looks like they give a discount for those that were in military or first responders
Ordered and on its way!

Be nice after you get one and install it to take some photos to post here
and what it takes to take the plate on and off

OK, great
Another positive of the plate being lower whereas the stock mount and the plate is cutting off the airflow to pass through the coolers

Nice to see a few more Tactical Red (Red Mist) cars

I'm a bit mixed on whether to change the front plate position, so will watch with interest.

Another option might be a stick on one, but I'm not sure about full legality. You see them a fair bit on the nose of GT3 models.

If you mean stuck on across the bonnet they're not fully legal. They fail the on the rule that a plate must be "fixed vertically" even the plate itself ticks all the relevant boxes.

Will do!
I’ll do a before, after and off

As promised the new plate is fitted and I would say very easy to fit , old one off refit the original centre corvette panel and fix the new plate bracket takes no more than 30 minutes

That was quick shipping

That looks a lot better than how it was stock mount, really made the front look crappy
How easy is it to slide off when not wanting plate on ?
Does the plate have to be that color ?
What if the letters/numbers were the same color as body and background black

Takes seconds if you know where the pin is to remove it and the same to re-install
Just wonder how many times I’ll forget to put it back on until I’m reminded by the police!!
Sorry officer it’s in the frunk!!

Yep but I’m still legal.......
And that's the point. I had an illegal front plate with a personalised registration for years and decided earlier this year to legalise it to avoid being stopped and/or the DVLA cancelling it. The day after I did it I was stopped for other reasons on the way to the Nationals - had I still had the illegal number plate on, it could well have added to the officer's displeasure.
