Great pictures, the “yanks” seem to be holding their own against those Krauts.
It was very noticeable that the Yanks seemed draw most of the attention throughout the day plus the odd `hopped up` Jap and the stunning modded MGF . We certainly had the bragging rights on the exhaust sounds front !

Chevrolet really hit a home run with the all new big block hood for 1967. No wonder many big block owners with 65 and 66 cars upgraded.
The “stinger” which usually matched the interior colour really makes the car pop.
Small block owners also, for more street cred. 😂 At traffic light drags they didn’t have too. The other car knew they had the juice from the hood.

The Jaguar XJS was a very early pre - HE model and absolutely immaculate after a full engine rebuild . Been in the same family since new . Fuel consumption that put most Yank Tanks to shame though !!!

Those early V12’s certainly liked a drink.
I can’t remember which was worse those. or a Chrysler corporation 440-6.
UK wise, a toss up between an XJS and a Jensen mk 3

Had a great day at Banbury Festival of Motoring today . The event was in only its second year and the centre of the town is shut down and given over to vintage , classic , modern supercars and everything in between in the Market Square and the Castle Wharf area of town . Big crowds walking around all day admiring the cars . Alpine F1 who based in the town had a central display too . Two other CCCUK members turned out to plus a very nice chrome bumper C3 . Town centre display was by advance booking only and we were all lucky enough to get parked together and made a fine sight . A stunning 1948 Packard Sedan and a well patinated Chevrolet De Luxe were parked nearby along with a notch back and fast back Mustangs . The big surprise was when I picked up the `Sponsors Choice ` award at close of play . Gob smacked to say the least . :D
