Think I would loose those Cibie’s, they look just too “add on”
The green one is super. Love it.
I could hang my furry dice from the interior mirror, and douse them with Brut.
I’m 18 again.

Great article from
Interesting reading, especially the Car & Driver handling article from 1979 which includes the Corvette, Trans Am & Camaro...

great articles.
The comparison between the 79 Z28 & Trans Am is excellent.
Look at those sales for 79 84k Z28’s alone. 117k Trans Am’s. that’s without all the other F- body models.
GM would love those figures nowadays for a single trim model.
I think one year Chevrolet sold upwards of 600k caprice models.

That’s when the General WAS The General.
They had it all their own way and lost it.

I know that’s the original Bandit front on the T/A, but I’ve always preferred the 79 front end.
Apparently James Garner aka Jim Rockford Hated the 79 front end, and had the 78 design put onto new 79 cars for the show.

Four Screaming chickens there (a white one also).. or would you prefer something a little more old skool like a Le Mans or a 'cuda?

How times have changed, back when new, cuda’s and Challengers were at the bottom of the muscle car/pony car pile. Now they are at the top. Just like the old saying when your at the bottom there’s only one way to go. Up.

Looking at that photo of the light blue cuda, reminded me of John Jemmetts old 70 challenger
“The Artfull Dodger.

Anybody Remember it?
I’ve still got the issue of custom car somewhere.
