I’m sure you have probably listed it somewhere but what modifications does the car have from a normal base model?
Are you running suspension geometry at the factory tolerances? Camber etc?
Hi Steve,
Over the years the spec has evolved, but it's not too far removed from a stock car.
The handling modifications made are:
The geometry has a lot more negative camber and I run the same settings on the road and track now, with minimal extra tyre wear or tramlining. Front is around -3.5 degrees, rear is -1.6. Toe is straight ahead at both ends, well, perhaps a fraction of toe in at the rear, but it's very close to parallel.
Rear Z06 leaf spring, front is a Hyperco 'race' T1 leaf spring.
Bushes are mostly Delrin, with the front uppers in rubber. I'm not sure I would do this again, they bind and were very expensive.
KW V3 double adjustable dampers (not coilovers).
Z51 anti-roll bars. I should probably go thicker, but I'm happy with the handling and don't want to make the car too stiff on the bumpy B road I use every day.
Thanks, Dave
