I was thinking the same thing!A good job Steve - impressive. Considering doing 'commissions' for CCCUK members? - perhaps not!

Thank you, it was a lot of hard work and still a lot more to do but it's getting there. It looks amazing! you took advantage of the heat wave period so well. The red looks beautiful. Good job
Yes but panel wipe before initially sanding to remove and polish or wax so as not to sand it into the panel. Was your process like this?
- Sand existing paint β 600 grit, dry
- Panel wipe
- Mask up
- Panel wipe again
- Mipa paint β 2 coats
- Let paint cure
- Wet sand β 2,000 grit
- Wet sand β 3,000 grit
- FarΓ©cla G360 β wool/high-cut pad
- FarΓ©cla G360 β cutting/polishing pad
- FarΓ©cla Super Fine β finishing pad
- Panel wipe β remove polish residue
- Ceramic coating
600 dry β panel wipe β Mipa Γ2 β cure β 2000 wet β 3000 wet β G360 wool β G360 polish β Super Fine β panel wipe β ceramic.

Good luck with it, Steve! I am certain you will get it sortedSorry for the lack of updates but the sanding and polishing has stopped.
My C4 is poorly, went out for a drive in mid September and it broke down.
Lucky I wasn't far from home and was "uphill" so managed to coast and push it home.
After a lot of fault finding I found out that the injectors were permanently on and flooding the engine, it also put fuel into the oil.
After fully testing the fuel system and the ignition system I have traced the fault to the ECM.

I think I have traced the fault to the Mosfet (like an electric switch) that turns the injectors on and off so have a new one on order and will solder it into the board when it arrives, so fingers crossed.
Typically RockAuto won't send a ECM to the UK due to the unknown Russian steel content
Interesting fact is the C4 use's a batch fire system and all 8 injectors fire together, not individually or in banks of 4.
It would be nice but the budget doesn't allow such extravagant behaviourHi Steve - that 'batch' fire system seems really crude in concept compared with more modern systems - is there are value in looking at some of the current aftermarket injection systems (Edelbrock and FiTech?) that do partial MPI kits for use on earlier GM injected engines?
