Yes. I did read this. I plan to run two coolers, one for PS and one for engine oil. Annoyingly it looks like pretty much all the gubbins on these cars routes down the drivers side.I've not been on the forum for ages, sorry I've missed this thread. It's good to see you working through a list of jobs, rewarding stuff. If you plan to take it on track you will need a power steering cooler, if not, what you have is fine for the road, it won't overheat. I too have a 'base' coupe and killed both my rack and pump through excessive heat, but only after long track sessions. Since fitting a small Mocal cooler behind the front fog light I've had no issues.

Thanks for that.
The car came with an aftermarket higher flowing radiator, so that’s there.
My plan was to take off the flexi line on one of the low pressure lines on the rack for the PS cooler feed and mount that behind the fog light.
Engine oil. I was going to use the little blocks on the take off above the oil coolers to drive a thermostat and run the heat exchanger in the gap where the leaf spring was (cars on coilovers).
I had briefly considered the trans and diff cooler but as there’s an additional pump required and I only plan to do track days, not endurance racing etc that I likely didn’t need this?

Indeed. I haven’t had the back end in the air YET but I’m seriously considering some quick jacks, I haven’t a garage but it’s not very spacious so jacking a car up on stands in there would not be much fun. Take a load of stress and time off my plate with the quick jacks.Reading page 3-50 of your owners manual for 2006 base model
Transmission Fluid Temperature: If you have an automatic transmission vehicle, this display shows the
automatic transmission fluid temperature.
Press the gages button again to display the automatic transmission fluid temperature, such as:
• TRANS FLUID TEMP 123°F or
• TRANS FLUID TEMP 51°C
If the transmission fluid temperature is low, the display will show TRANS FLUID TEMP LOW. If the
transmission fluid temperature is high, the display will show TRANS FLUID TEMP HIGH.
So your 2006 C6 is same as we have for the C5s and if wanting to know what fluid temp is
add a temp sensor
At the least I would replace the tranny fluid with Mobil 1 ATF
Hassle having to put the ass end of C6 on floor jacks
The fill plug is high on left side of case and the drain plug lower one
