Will rub it down and repaint the last coat when I do the doors. Got to work up a frame so I can hang the doors vertically though.

Tim, is there a reason for hanging the doors vertical, other than all round access?

No experience of this but I’ve been told that with metallics if you have it in a different orientation when you paint It to how it sits on the car you’ll see it in the metallic particles.

Interesting thank you, sorry if I missed it but what is the nice blue colour, for some reason I thought you were going white?

Was thinking about orange but went with a 2004 BMW colour 335 estoril blue.

Nothing specific paint wise. But will go with some period correct stickers, so they can be removed if wanted.
