Looking at your parts list JohnG. I think the moral is buy a later C3! Turn signal switch for example is 3 times the price on a 69.

my '68 is going back on the Cars For Sale section again later on today. And it's expensive!
Anyone know any ways to convince the missus she is just seeing double when she sees two 68 Corvettes in the garage? Granted one will be white & black, and the other blue.... if it weren't for the white then maybe the other colours would be what I'll be afterwards - black & blue :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Door seals on, you’d have thought they’d have come up with a better way than glue! Can’t have been cost effective on a production line.

Looks a very neat job, how easy/hard did you find it?

Wasn’t too bad actually. Following advice. I screwed the two ends in place. Coated the seal and the door with contact adhesive using a brush. Left for half and hour with the seal folded over the door top protected by some paper. Then pressed it together. I started at the ends.

Early finish today so got on with the front spoiler, made up a mould from some pipe lagging to create a tube to mount the brake ducting on.

And fibreglassed it up.

Front grilles now fitted along with some new BL indicators, which completes all the wiring I think. B04993A8-CA3F-4568-8716-6B6FA2FC2AFA.jpeg

That does look mean. You said a while ago that you'd lowered the front ride height, did you cut the springs or fit shorter ones?

Front spoiler on, kind of. The nuts and bolts I ordered are shite. The quality of stuff has really gone down hill in the last five years. So had to order some more nuts.

Hi Oneball

Just a techie question as to the front spoiler used for cooling,
Will it sit lower to prevent air getting under the car and generating lift ?
