It’s sad to see such a once so expensive elegant car in such a sorry state. Somewhere in its past a owner let it deteriorate and additional owners likewise. More than the average house when it was new. Those twin headlights made it look so much more modern than the single headlight version.

Looks like its had a minor frontal and been beaten out......and nothing. Welcome Frank to the world of potential telephone number prices for even the simplest things.

Yep, prices that make corvette prices look Cheap.
I seem to remember the beautiful one used in heartbeat by vernon scribbs when he came into a few quid. Maroon and silver, looked a real nice car. They had a similar one on bangers and cash that they picked up in France. Being RHD the owner said it was difficult to sell in France.

It’s on the lean due to a punctured tyre. Needs a ton of enjoyable work, bought from a dealer with a ton of fibs. And yes for a car that in 1965 cost more than my Fathers London 3 bed house they are now cheaper that C2’s. Talking of cheaper C2’s, there will be a few on the market soon.

Will be a beautiful thing when finished. Nice that your able to give it the attention it deserves. A true Gentleman’s club on wheels.

It was amazing what the four headlights did to make the car look so much more modern than its two headlight predecessor. Same with the Silver cloud 3. It transformed the car.

Nothing like a great British leather car interior. Nobody did it better in those days, and Rolls and Bentley were top of the tree.

Yes silver with black 'Top Hat' (roof and boot).
That will look the business. Silver with black is a fantastic Color combination.
Two tone on Bentley’s and Rollers is back “in” . Not that it was ever out, but it died down a little for a few years. Now it’s all the rage.

Problem with the current trend seen of Rollers and Bentleys with the silver or black and silver exterior colours in the 100% lack of sense, taste and logic applied to choice of interior colours...........all you seem to see is pure white or alternatively black and white interiors.........so monochromatic. Shouldn't be surprised really given the trend over the last 20 odd years for every visible surface in domestic properties finished in white (and fully illuminated by excess quantities of LED lighting unless of course the current trendy grey........)
