Could well be dodgy connections in the wiper motor causing them not to self park when switched off .

It's only a stick-on plate. You can buy new ones.

Yes James, just buy a new one. If you try to “touch up” the old one, it will look like a pigs ear. They are cheap.

I was wondering about this too, as my plate isn't great either. So I've had a look at that website and they only list one sticker for a 1968, and its for the 435hp 427. That looks a good cheap option for me to convert my 327/300hp to the full big block V8 power

It truly is the better, as it is discrete and people will never know my "435hp 427" is actually only a 327... especially as I have the big block hood on it as well

I got a bruce springsteen cassette for a quid at a music shop to play in the stingray and it sounds good except the high notes sound squeeky. Does anyone know any tricks for old cassettes or were they always dodgy? It says it has stereo quality sound.

Alcohol on an ear bud then gently rub it on cassette head which is a cm square chrome thingy inside to one side.

As previous members have said, it helps to clean the heads. Compared to todays sounds they ( cassettes) and 8-tracks will sound dodgy

I seem to remember having seen an ad somewhere for custom made ones with your own engine and power spec on to allow for rebuilds and performance mods. I will have a google

Which corvette year has the best silver? And I do mean pure silver without a hint of any other colour. It's hard to say because each year the silver changed ever so slightly so I thought I'd just ask on here.

The last silver cars I sold was a 1975 convertible and a 1976 coupe. Both looked “pure “ silver to my old eyes, and looked pretty much the same colour. Both cars polished up real nice.
